Knowledge Integration

The MLPD program exposed me to various case studies involving various problems. Naturally, one builds a bank of information to apply to different situations. Through the numerous guest speakers, and site visits, I have been able to apply my learning in the real world. Knowing the capacity in which someone stands in in the real estate development process creates a better understanding of how everyone fits into the picture. This translates to making sound and confident decisions in the real world. In LDEV 688 – Development Feasibility & Design II, my group members and I prepared a market analysis for a potential retail development in the Bryan/College Station Market. This assignment represents the discipline of knowledge integration as we had to collectively use all of the information about real estate development to prepare a sound market analysis.
